A car driven by Mr and Mrs Eugene Holmes and their son Gordon slid into a ditch on a narrow Eden road after rain left deep ruts. The coupe could not be pulled out by a team and had to be lifted from the ditch by neighbors. All occupants were soaked but unharmed. Funeral attendance noted for Mrs Gay of Crystal.
