Morton Carnival Big Cash Success
The Morton Riverton Parent-Teacher club hosted a rain drenched carnival on October 16 featuring the South Riverton orchestra under John Peterson, a 30 minute colored minstrel show, a mock wedding, magic lantern pictures, and multiple booths. Gross receipts reached 118.50 with 75 net for the club treasury, marking the most profitable Morton school sociable in years.
