Vacation program and community dinner at Marquette town
A school celebration yesterday featured a picnic and a large dinner for pupils and neighbors. The program opened with a song Vacation and included recitations, dialogues, instrumental music, and a final scene with Ma Cute. Guest Mrs. Jennie Lipe spoke on the Woman's Christian Temperance Union and its 35 departments. Foreclosure and divorce cases, plus a jury civil case, appeared in the docket list.

Delivery Is Cut In Ludington As Rural Routes Expand
The city faces widespread rural delivery changes after a Washington ruling. Areas north of Tinkham avenue and the Fourth ward lose curb service with many blocks shifted to rural routes.
