Pioneer club hosts May Day event at Hibisars hall
In NviLo Michigan on May 13 the Scottville study club held a Pioneer Day celebration for elderly members. Mrs Seeley welcomed guests and praised the day, with a Daisy drill by students, community singing, and a banquet featuring rose-themed decor and a menu of chicken, potatoes, peas, Bavarian salad, rolls, ice cream, and cake.

Leedy and others praised the teachers for their accomplishments. A large turnout attended the event with new officers elected A. R Septicon president for a third year, Mrs Anna Rutty vice president, Mrs Geneva Rahn secretary, and Wm Thurow treasurer. The program featured singing, music by Englebrecht's orchestra, recitations and solos. The evening concluded with games led by Frederick Dorsch and A R Septicon and a thanks for the teachers' efforts.
