Muskegon County to Open New County Sanatorium Soon
Muskegon county plans to open a new cubercular sanatorium this month. The 20 acre riverside site overlooks Muskegon river and lake with a three story reinforced concrete fireproof building costing about 100000 dollars. It will house 55 to 60 patients, feature private rooms with baths, X ray and laboratory, open porches, radio wiring, intercoms, modern kitchen and laundry, its own sewer system and gas plant, and be lit by city service. Residents of Muskegon county will receive admission preference, with a charity fund for those unable to pay. Three Seriously Injured in Auto Accident
The Associated Press levered wire reports from Detroit say three people were seriously and perhaps fatally injured in an automobile crash yesterday at Michigan Avenue and Telegraph Road. The victims are William Nehafil, Joseph Nehafil of South St. Paul, Minnesota, and four year old Eleanore Nehafil. The injured suffered severe lacerations and internal injuries. The child and Joseph are not expected to live.

Grade Crossing Fatal To Michigan Man 75
Washington Ballard, 75, of Eaton County west of Grand Ledge, was killed when struck by a Pere Marquette northbound passenger train at East Michigan avenue crossing. He was thrown 20 feet, striking his head on a rail end and died almost instantly.
