Jessie Hulbert died at Paulina Stearns hospital in Ludington after an appendectomy. The Van, Michigan native had lived here six months in good health until four weeks prior. He was 44 years old, leaving a widow, two young daughters, his parents, a sister and a brother in law, and many friends.
