One hundred guests attended an outstanding early summer dance at Lincoln Hills Golf Club, sponsored by the Ludington Junior Literary Club. The Timekeepers orchestra played as the ballroom glowed with lights and a large daisies arrangement. Members of the Ludington chapter Daughters of the American Revolution gathered at the Victory home of Mrs. Carl Christensen for the June meeting. Eight members attended with Mrs. Robert Wayt as a guest. The ritual opened the session as minutes were read. A letter from state officer Miss Cook accompanied a discussion on organization work and new members. A gift of 5 from the state regent Mrs Heavenrich and state first vice regent Miss Cook was to fund memberships with the Pete Marquette Memorial association, totaling 12 with prior chapter donations. Committees reported, and tea was served by Mrs. Christensen assisted by her daughter Miss June Christensen.

Dr Grant A Robbins of Kansas City and Oakwood cottage will speak at Epworth Sunday morning services at 10 45 in the administration building. Music will be by Evelyn Muelker, pianist. Robbins, who began ministry in 1888 and retired in 1939 after 51 years, helped merge the Methodist churches and served in Missouri and Kansas. He and Mrs Robbins observed their 52nd anniversary May 23 and have visited Epworth for 21 years assisting Bishop William Quayle, whom Robbins met at Baker University.
