In London a UPI report says the United States claims James Earl Ray was the single hand killer of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A British lawyer presented a witness tying Ray to the rifle and placing him at the rooming house bathroom from which the fatal shot was fired. The third court appearance followed Ray's London arrest on forged passport charges, guarded by about one hundred police as he rode to Bow Street Magistrates Court.
