A Washington DC native and winter resident since 1946 she belonged to Jensen Beach Community Church and held leadership in the American Legion auxiliary. Surviving are her son Edward Dixon daughter Jean Thacher several stepchildren and many grandchildren. Funeral services were in Jensen Beach.
