Head-on Crash Claims Three in Reed City
Reed City police report a three vehicle collision on US-131 four miles south of town left Roy D. Fonger of Port Huron dead in hospital and claimed the lives of Ligouri Hurst and his mother Theresa Hurst of Paris. Mrs Hurst died on admission, son Alphonso previously perished in a similar accident two years ago. Mrs Hurst and her son were in a car that collided with Fonger's vehicle. Hurst, a three year Navy veteran, was part owner of a Paris grocery store.
