Obituary of Mrs. C. Shilander of Ludington Area
Clara Munson Shilander 81 of 505 N. Rowe St. died 9 30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital Mason County where she had been patient the past week. She married Oscar G. Shilander in Detroit Feb 18 1911. he died in 1967. They lived in Riverton Township, Ludington thereafter. She worked five years at Atkinson Mig Co. and was active in Ludington United Methodist Church and related groups. Survived by two daughters Gladys LeZatte Kalamazoo and Erma Harwood Allegan. two sons George and Roy Scottville. a sister Ester Anderson Grand Rapids. two brothers George Rochester Ind and Clarence Pentwater. 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral 1 30 p.m. Saturday at Dorrell Funeral Home. Rev Harold Filbrandt officiating. Burial Brookside Cemetery Scottville. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.

Six Injured In Multiple Local Traffic Accidents
Six people sustained minor injuries in three separate traffic incidents investigated by local police and the sheriff's department on Wednesday. Edward Haver Jr., 16, of Dayton Ohio, and Valetta Witchins, 76, of Ludington, were treated at Memorial Hospital after a two car crash at Jebavy Drive and Angling Road. Jean Anderson of Ottawa Illinois received a ticket for failure to yield. In another collision on North Lewis Street Oseland, 18, of Johnson Road, and Russell Pomeroy, 18, of Ludington, were treated and released after hitting a parked car. Oseland was charged with driving without due caution. Karen Paukstis, 12, of Scottville, had minor injuries from a mini-bike spill off US-10-31. A third minor accident at Ludington Avenue and Emily Street left two cars with minor damage. John Franklin was charged with driving without due caution.

Cleio L Hull aged in his late 70s died Wednesday morning at a Jackson hospital. Survived by wife Janis a stepson William Krueskamp a stepdaughter Mrs Janis Pena eight grandchildren two sisters Almina Zoyles and Maxie Gawronski two brothers Adelbert and Clarence all of Jackson. Funeral services 7:30 p.m. Friday at Burden Funeral Home Jackson with cremation to follow.
