Paris June 22 An assault by German forces on French positions east of Mont Tetón was launched the day before on a quarter mile front. The enemy penetrated the front trenches but was driven out. Between June 8 and 20 Allied airmen destroyed fourteen German aircraft and one captive balloon, with eleven shot down by pilots and three by anti aircraft fire. Seven enemy planes were seriously damaged in our sorties. Our squadrons also bombed key targets including Benadorf, Hayalge Jesus at Moyeuvre, blast furnaces at Burbach and in the Saar valley, railway stations at Bethenivelle and other towns, Suippe valley bivouages, and munitions depots near Laon, totaling thirteen thousand kilograms of projectiles dropped.
