VFW Post Gifts to Camp and Drum Corps Plans
Levee post No. 2409 Veterans of Foreign Wars met at the Veterans' home on North Rowe street to vote a 5 gift to the VFW Buddy Poppy camp for underprivileged children at Union Lake. The post will use drum corps instruments to form a scout drum corps. Delegates to the national encampment in Los Angeles were chosen with alternates. The auxiliary donated 25 for a flag and display at the building.
