State Police Rush Serum to Traverse City
A state police plane from East Lansing delivered serum from the state health department laboratory for the treatment of 2 year old Richard Schuknecht in Traverse City. The child, stricken Saturday, was diagnosed with meningitis by family physician Dr. C E Lemon who phoned Lansing for the serum. The boy’s father, Edward Schuknecht, is a Traverse City high school teacher.
