Weather balloon explains mysterious sky object over Michigan
Residents in Detroit Pontiac and Flint observed a luminous rose colored object in the sky Wednesday evening. Bernard Maynard of Flint Bishop Airport Civil Aeronautics Administration said a 75 foot weather balloon released Wednesday morning in St. Cloud Minnesota triggered the sightings. Pilot Raymond Hull chased the balloon to about 10000 feet before losing it as it drifted eastward over Lapeer.
