Miss Blaine Youngquist of 317 North Harrison street, whose marriage to Folke Ferrer on June 19, was honored Thursday evening with a personal shower at her home by her sisters Misses Vera and Alice Youngquist. Airplane bianco provided entertainment with first prize to Miss Ann Abrahamson and second to Miss Maryan Radtke. A pink and white color scheme appeared in the appointments as a tray luncheon followed. Gifts for the bride-to-be included many attractive items from friends. other guests included Mrs. O W Colvin, Miss Margaret Woodland and Miss Isabel Parsons.

Mr and Mrs Joseph Sahlmark Sr of 707 East Ludington avenue travel to Ann Arbor for their son Joseph J Sahlmark Jr to graduate from the University of Michigan Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He is a Ludington High School 1928 graduate who earned a BS from the University School of Pharmacy in 1932 and is licensed as a registered pharmacist. He will begin an internship at St Josephs Hospital in Ann Arbor after today's graduation.
