Ludington high school to grant 1941 diplomas
Commencement honors 136 graduates with diplomas to be presented June 12 at Oriole hall. The program includes Die Schone Galathia overture, salutatory by Estelle Parrott, tenor and baritone solos, songs by the Senior Girls chorus, a valedictory by Marela Mae Ely, and a final Etude Melodique violin performance. diplomas presented by William J. Mueckler and class awards announced by principal C. H. Schantz.

Pere Marquette Grangers Meet at Regular Session
Members of the Pere Marquette Grange met in regular session at the township hall with Lowell Beach presiding. The group voted to continue summer meetings half an hour later, welcomed Mr and Mrs William Blackburn, and heard guests from Mason Grange. The gathering featured assembly singing, new Grange song books, a lecturer led questionnaire, a hot supper, and spring flowers in decor. The July meeting committee includes Mrs Bronson, Mrs Proper, and Charles Fitch Sr.

Memorial Rites Held by Pere Marquette OES Chapter
Pere Marquette chapter No 327 Order of Eastern Star held its regular meeting at the Masonic temple followed by an open memorial service to honor deceased members. Attendees included Masonic Blue Lodge Knights Templar and guests. The Ludington Woman's club Past Presidents held their annual spring luncheon at Hamlin Lake home of Mrs. Clay F. Olmstead Sr. Mrs. O Albert Palm, retiring Literary club president, was initiated into the Past Presidents. Luncheon passed at 1 o'clock with fiesta ware and harmonized linens. Committee included Mrs. Joseph Buck, Mrs. Daisy M. Beek and Mrs. H. M. Hallett. Mrs. Clay F. Olmstead Sr. was named president and Mrs. Alan H. Burch re-elected secretary. Mrs. A. R.
