Former Ludington residents Mr. and Mrs. Fredolf Anderson of Benton Harbor will join Trinity Evangelical Churchs Mid summer Choir Concert on Wednesday at 7 30 p.m. The Andersons will perform instrumental and vocal pieces. The program also features the Caroller Choir, Youth Singers, and the Chancel Choir under Mrs. Ron Ortquist, with the Gospelheirs Quartet revived for the occasion. Odell Berg Dies Today
Odell C. Berg 70 of 508 E Court St died at 6 30 am at Mason County Medical Care Facility after a six month illness. Born June 26 1900 in Hale Wisconsin he moved to Mason County in 1922. He married Margaret M Roeder November 27 1924 in Ludington who survives. He worked 20 years at Carrom Division Co then Dow Chemical Co then John Clausen Plumbing then 15 years as Ludington High School custodian retiring 1964. Surviving are wife two daughters two sons three sisters two brothers and 13 grandchildren plus nieces and nephews. He was preceded by parents a daughter Betty Lou and a sister. Friends may call at Dorrell Funeral Home after 2 pm Tuesday with funeral tentatively 1 30 pm Wednesday at St John Lutheran Church. Additional arrangements will be announced later.
