State convention closes with 35 delegates in Ludington
The 43rd annual Ladies' Arbeiter Society of Michigan convention met in Ludington on June 3 4 and 5 with 35 delegates 10 state officers and several guests. Sessions at St Stanislaus polish hall featured a Tuesday dinner and souvenir gifts for delegates.

The Woman's Society of The Community church met at the churchhouse with the Phil?lean circle in charge. Mrs. F.G. Dykstra led the devotional service. Mrs. Robert Weyt presented a review of The World We Make a three act play by Sidney Kingsley. Refreshments followed, served from a spring flower centerpiece as Mrs. Paul Haskell Clark and Mrs. Earl Clark poured. Hostess committee included Mrs. Arthur Oss chairman with Mrs. James Rye Jr., Mrs. Clyde Nelson and Mrs. F. G. Dykstra assisting.
