Woman's Society of Community church yearend meeting notes
Members of the Woman's Society of The Community church held their last meeting of the year on Wednesday afternoon at 2 30. The program featured W S Vivian secretary of the Epworth Assembly and C Lawrence Lind secretary of the local Chamber of Commerce who spoke on Ludington civic and industrial prospects. James Blythe of the United States Chamber of Commerce announced plans to live in Ludington this summer to survey local business and industry. Joan Love contributed a piano solo Minuet by Paderewski. A baked goods sale was planned for early July with all society girdles participating. Refreshments were served by several members at the close.

11 Girl Scouts Enjoy Camp at Muskegon State Park
Twenty one members of Ludington Girl Scout Troop 5 sponsored by The Community Church returned home Wednesday after an overnight camping trip to Muskegon State Park. They traveled Tuesday by a special Greyhound, camped at the former army barracks, and enjoyed hiking games on the Lake Michigan beach. Leaders were Mrs. H. B. Hoffman and Miss Evelyn Carlson with Mrs. R. L. Lagesen and Miss Eleanor McKerry. The Boone activities pause until September.
