Weekend visitors and church services noted in Gladwin area
Gladwin residents hosted weekend guests at the Alec Benedict home. Mrs. Arthur Sheldon returned from Michigan and Mrs. Carrie Parmer, now recovering, was visited by Mrs. Parmer’s daughter. Several local residents attended calls in town while Rev. Edward Kline and Miss Josie Bentley opened nondenominational evangelistic services at Summit town hall.

Historians Exhibit Planned for Manistee PTA Group
In Freesoil Michigan on June 6 Mrs G Pearl Carr reports Fifth District PTA historians plan an exhibit of local history at the Michigan Education Association convention in Manistee October 1 2. Miss Clara Wheeler state historian and Mrs N M Barnes district historian advise methods for compiling records and a loose leaf notebook is recommended. Superintendent B J Kinger has arranged high school space and Leroy Bell has endorsed a set time for historians conference during the convention.
