Opening sessions of the state convention of the Ladies Ar beiter society will be held in Ludington this week at 9 oclock Tuesday morning in the Polish hall. Both morning and afternoon sessions are set for June 3 4 and 5 with 9 am and 1 30 pm start times. The local president urges large attendance for as many sessions as possible as matters of importance will be discussed.

A 20 year old resident of Fenton was fatally injured Sunday evening when his motorcycle collided with a bike driven by Leo Hall of Benton. Charles Weinhalf, 59, of Alpena, was killed Sunday after being struck by an automobile while walking along a highway near his home.
