New Manager Named for Alexander-Rye Scottville Funeral Home
Robert W. Alexander announces Thomas A. Rosko as manager of the Scottville branch. Rosko, born in Detroit, trained at Wayne State Mortuary School 1975 76 and Schoolcraft College 1975, holds state mortuary licensure and is certified by national boards. He trained at L. J. Griffin Detroit and Wagner-Stark Moore in Ypsilanti and is a Michigan Eye Bank volunteer. He joins Ludington Lions Club and St. Mary’s Church in Custer and will reside in Scottville.

Rural Mason County motorcycle crash injures two girls
Two rural Mason County girls were injured Sunday afternoon near Whiskey Creek when a motorcycle collided with another cycle. Cynthia A. Badke 21 of Custer and Susie Englebrecht 13 of Scottville sustained minor injuries not needing hospitalization. The other cyclist's identity was not known.
