Ludington High School Holds Largest Graduation
A capacity crowd at Oriole hall witnessed Ludington high school’s largest graduating class with 145 diplomas. William J. Mueckler presented diplomas as Marian Meisenheimer was salutatorian and Marjorie Jean Anderson valedictorian. The program featured orchestra, vocal solos, a clarinet trio, senior chorus, saxophone sextet, brass octet and remarks by H. H. Hawley.

Townsendites Enjoy Session At Ludington Towns Club
Ludington Townsend Club No 1 held a Thursday evening meeting at the Masonic building. Guest speaker L F Cligh of Kalamazoo spoke on Am I My Brother's Keeper and urged gratitude for the free country. Michigan representatives signed a Townsend plan withdrawal petition, first such step toward support. Members urged to write to Congressman Engel. The ladies auxiliary announced a box social on June 6 and a rummage sale on June 8 with donations welcome June 7.
