The first meeting of the Fountain Parent-Teacher Association was well attended in the grammar room with Vice President Mrs Hansen presiding. Reports praised clean rooms and good order, discussed library needs, and elected officers. A box social raised 14 500 dollars for playground equipment as a robbery later hinted at in town news.

Walhalla school will host a program on Wednesday December 28 at 8 o'clock with an invited audience. A box social will follow the program and ladies are asked to bring boxes. Santa Claus will be available for attendees.
