Michael Fitch left Monday for Portland Oregon to join his wife and daughter Cruce Hull and family members, while the hospital bound relative battles illness. The party plans wintering in Florida with Fitch’s son. Miss Wilberth Broder and Miss Jackeety Pitch attended gatherings and visits with relatives in Ludington and Lansing during Thanksgiving.

Cancer Is Fatal To Miles Roach
Miles Roach died at his Millerton home Sunday evening at 6 30. Born in Canada May 21 1862 he was a railroad man for 44 years and later farmed. He moved to Millerton at age 34 and worked for the Michigan East and West railroad until disbandment serving as section foreman. He leaves his widow Lydia and seven children Leo Howard Claude Albert Ruth Guileff Ellis Leela and siblings in Michigan Detroit and California. Funeral services will be conducted from the home Thursday by Fountain lodge of Odd Fellows and burial will be in Bachelor cemetery.
