In Santa Ana California last night bandits robbed a combination express and mail car on train No 75 between San Huec and Santa Ana. Four men suspected participated. Elmer Campbell 62 was found unconscious after a bullet lodged in his brain and prospects of saving him are poor. An airplane mail pouch was missing though no registered mail was found. The value of the loot is undetermined and the pouch was believed to be highly valuable.
