Luther L Bruker died suddenly at 2 o clock this afternoon in Paulina Stearns hospital after a short illness. He was treated by Dr. W. H. Force. Taken sick Saturday evening, he was moved to the hospital Sunday afternoon. The body was taken to Morrison funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. He was a member of the Baldwin V. W. Ewing Post No. 7 American Legion. He was a chiropractor and had made many friends.

Doctor disputes Scott insanity findings at state hospital
Aug. 24 Chicago AP reports Dr. Frank A. Stubblefield, superintendent of the state hospital for the criminal insane in Qhester, says Russell Scott, convicted murderer, remains under observation and no decision has been made on his sanity. Reports of him being found sane are incorrect. A decision may not come soon as two consultants await corroboration. Scott was moved to Chester after a failed attempt to escape gallows. The jailer’s office was vacant and expected to be filled within two weeks. Scott’s wife was in Mielugan seeking funds to appeal the case to the supe.

In CARO Egypt the seven men implicated in the assassination of Sir Lee Stack, the sirdar of the Egyptian army and governor general of the Sudan, were executed yesterday at 45 minute intervals. Rented car crashes into church lawn in odd mishap
