Jackson Michigan August 18 Cov Groesbeck has launched a vast funding effort for a new state prison. When finished it will house 1,500 inmates and cost upwards of 5 million dollars making it the nations largest prison. Completion may take three years and housing by September 1926 is hoped. The project is supervised by former War Department head Barry Hulbert and involves over a mile of concrete walls rising 110 feet high.
