Occupants Escape After Car Upset Near Summit
A car driven by Harold Hawley of Ludington overturned into a four foot ditch near the Joe Seymour home in Summit while passing another vehicle after Sunday services. Mrs Hawley their young son Monroe and two women from Epworth were inside. No serious injuries beyond a scratch to Mrs Bradshaw. A crowd helped lift the wreck back onto the road and the car, aside from a damaged top, ran fine to Ludington.

High Liquor Haul by State Police in Detroit Raids
Detroit Aug 10 state police seized beer and whiskey valued at 35000 and two motor boats worth 20000 in Sunday riverfront raids at Ecorse.
