The Stout Metal Aircraft Co in Detroit will become the Stout Metal Airplane division of the Ford Motor Co with a projected investment near half a million dollars. Mord and his son Heisel provided details stressing safety, foolproof design, and cautious progress over racing or speed, aiming to study aerial navigation and advance experimental work at Ford's sites.
