Suspects Sought in Lubbock County Death Case

Two unidentified men described as in their twenties with facial hair were seen in southern Lubbock County after a Grassland woman, 85, was beaten and died. Witness reports place the suspects near FM 41 west of U S 87 and two sightings followed a day of fading clues. Mrs Carrie Naomi Wall was found amid injuries Friday night and died en route to a hospital. Her family joined the search as investigators review a possible break in. The woman had long ties to Garza County and her funeral was held at Post First Baptist Church.
