Fair Opens Eight Day Run At Panhandle South Plains Fair
The 56th Panhandle South Plains Fair opens today at Lubbock with an eight day program. Fair manager Steve Lew calls it super colossal as crowds anticipate extended exhibits, contests, and shows across the Coliseum and fair grounds. Judging starts early with horse shows, poultry and rabbit events, fiddlers contest, star acts, and the $1 million midway.
