Two Hartless brothers killed in grade crossing crash

In Lubbock County a car carrying the Hartless family collided with a Santa Fe locomotive at a grade crossing. Charles Hartless died at the scene and Doyle Hartless died on arrival at hospital. Jerry and James Hartless were injured, with James in critical condition and Jerry listed as serious. The crash occurred after 7 pm, the car speed about 20 mph, train about 50 mph.
