Tornadoes Strike Central Illinois Cause Havoc

Tornadoes ripped through central Illinois injuring at least 51 people and causing over 1 million dollars in damage. Homes, a soft drink plant and a whisky barrel factory were destroyed before the storms moved into Indiana and Michigan. One man, Alfred Conrad of TL, died of a heart attack in a barn while seeking shelter. Peoria stockyards were left in ruins.
