He noted renewed attacks aim to pressure cities while disrupting pacification, and said a future U.S. president would likely resist Viet Cong concessions. Thiệu also presented land deeds to about 800 farmers, granting 12 year payment on land formerly held by French interests at $75 per acre.

Widow sues Dr Sheppard and hospital for 530000
Marcia Lopez administrator for Samuel Lopez sues Dr Samuel H. Sheppard and the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for 530000 claiming negligence in a spinal operation Aug 6 that allegedly lacerated an artery causing death.
