Industrial Bank and Trust Co proposed for Lubbock
The State Banking Department filed an application for a new Lubbock bank named Industrial Bank and Trust Co with capital and surplus of 200000 each and reserves of 105000. W K Barnett of Levelland named president and Lubbock figures Brassell Gillham Cassell Anderson plus Clarksville’s R T D McDonald as directors. If approved it would be the seventh bank in Lubbock with site to be determined in the north part of the city. Take-home pay up 30 percent in 10 years while food prices rose six percent.
