Gaines County Recovers Oil from No 1 Ethel Garland Well
Atlantic Refining Co. recovered oil at No 1 Ethel Garland eight miles southeast of Seminole in Gaines County. A drill stem test from 9,986 to 10,080 feet flowed for one hour, bringing up 150 feet of oil and 200 feet of oil and gas-cut drilling mud from an unidentified formation. The well is being drilled deeper, located 990 feet from the north and east lines of Labor 5 League 308, Dawson CSL survey, 15 miles northwest of North Amron Field.

No-Plug Order Extended for East Texas Oil Field
