Mother stabs two teachers in classroom in San Francisco

In a Hillcrest School incident, a mother identified as Rose Marie Hardy invaded a kindergarten room and stabbed teachers Joan Huskey and Shirley Bayerle, leaving them critically injured. Huskey underwent eye, neck, and chest surgery, with possible loss of sight. Bayerle was attacked in the adjacent room. Police held Hardy on two counts of attempted murder.

Cool readings, too rain snow in parts of area

North Texas residents faced 30s and 40s as a heavy cloud cover and a high pressure system kept temperatures cold. The National Weather Service listed a 0 percent chance of rain for the Panhandle-South Plains with light snow possible in northern High Plains areas. In Lubbock the high reached 47 and the low 36. another day of upper 40s is forecast through Wednesday. Continuous cold and travel warnings spread for New Mexico and western mountains where heavy snow was expected.
