Charles E. Maedgen Jr. chief executive officer of Lubbock National Bank and longtime civic leader died in Lubbock Methodist Hospital after surgery. He was 57. He led downtown revitalization, chaired executive committees, and supported the Ranch Headquarters Museum. He served in the Air Force and Harvard Business School. Funeral services Monday at First United Methodist Church. burial in City of Lubbock Cemetery.
