Women Use Lug Wrench In Robbery Of Station
Negro woman and at least four accomplices robbed Waitt's Service Station at 50th Street and King Avenue at about 7 15 p m Wednesday escaping with about 170 in cash. A teenage bandit about 13 years old carried a lug wrench and the group drove a dark blue or black 1960 or 61 Buick. The attendant gave up 320 from the cash register after the bandits pressed for the register and threatened to shoot if police were called. Police searched the Buffalo Lakes area after a tip proved fruitless.
