Ann Landers Advice and A Tea Anniversary At Mason Home
A letter from readers prompts Ann Landers style answers about snoring and adoption. A May 1901 wedding anniversary note details a tea planned for 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. plus a noon Sunday dinner hosted by the Masons' family. The article then chronicles Rev. Mason’s long Baptist ministry across multiple towns, his wife’s missionary work, and the couple’s 514 years of service narrative, ending with a note on their current quiet life and fondness for old times.

Mason family 70th reunion in Jacksboro and long separated kin
The Mason family marks its 70th reunion in Jacksboro on the second Sunday in August. A man separated from his family at birth was reunited 80 years later with the wife of his late brother and with the sons and daughters of both brothers and sisters he never knew. Mrs. L. L. Mason of Denison, the sister-in-law, died earlier this month. Mrs. Phillips notes a 60th wedding anniversary article inspired a Sweetwater woman to contact a Utah friend tracing a lost family segment.
