Four Medals of Honor to be awarded at Pentagon ceremony
In a historic event a single ceremony will bestow Medals of Honor on one service member from each branch. The Hall of Heroes at the Pentagon displays over 3 200 nameplates and cost 36 000 dollars. Recipients are Army Spec Charles Hagemeister Marine Sgt Richard Pittman Navy Boatswain s Mate 1st Class James Williams and Air Force Capt Gerald Young all cited for actions in Vietnam. Secretary of Defense Clark Clifford will preside. Actions for which cited were not released.

Connally aims tax shift replacing city tax with higher state rate
