Formal Opening Of McWhorter Grade School
The McWhorter grade school in Lubbock will hold a formal opening Thursday at 8 p.m. under superintendent R W Matthews. Campbell Rites Set At Abernathy Today
Ira P. Campbell 42 an Abernathy resident for two years died suddenly Monday night in a local doctor’s office. Rites are at 4 p m today at the Methodist church with Rev Frank Beaucham officiating. Burial in Abernathy cemetery. Rix Funeral Home of Lubbock in charge. He leaves a widow five children a brother three sisters and his father.
