Fireman Injured After Fall During Lubbock Plant Blaze

A Lubbock firefighter, 23 year old William T. Graham, fell 35 to 40 feet from an aerial ladder while directing a hose at a burning packing plant. He suffered a head cut and possible back injury but had no fractures and was in fair condition after treatment at West Texas Hospital. The blaze at Keeton Livestock Co. partly demolished building originated from a cutting torch and the incident occurred during demolition work.
