Lubbock Man Charged In Slaying After Double Shooting
28 year old Lubbock man Donnie Tew was charged with murder after a shotgun slaying of James Louis Shobert at a residence on 2610 37th Street. Shobert died at West Texas Hospital after being shot at about 8 15 am last Thursday. A witness, Janice Louise Chapman, 21, posted bond as a material witness. Shobert survived by his parents and two brothers with services set for Friday at the First Four Square Gospel Church.
