Convicted Slayers To Testify In Raiford Prison Trial
The government plans to call at least three convicted murderers as witnesses in the trial of 14 former guards accused of torturing inmates at Raiford State Prison. Up to 50 convicts may be summoned to testify as the trial in Federal District Court opens with jury selection expected to consume most of the day.

Trailer Caravan Set to Rally at Mackenzie Park Today
Twenty-five to thirty travel trailers and about 100 travelers are expected in Lubbock for the Wally Byam Caravan Club rally at Mackenzie State Park.
