F111 Production Squabble Looms

Probable cause found in Fremont Avenue fire

Fire Marshal A C Black attributed the Sunday blaze destroying four houses under construction in the 8200 block of Fremont Avenue to matches in a metal tray left on a window sill by workmen. He cited sun glare on the tray and the 98 degree temperature as ignition factors. Arson was ruled out after questioning several persons.
