Northwestern bikes turn orange to curb thefts on campus
Northwestern University safety officials painted abandoned bicycles fluorescent orange and offered them free to students. The program, dubbed Project Ughfication, aims to deter theft by making bikes unattractive to thieves and unusable if moved off campus. So far 44 orange junkers remain un-stolen over two months, with plans to expand to 100.

Escapees Confined After Brushy Mountain Hearing
