In St Lo France a June 1944 commemorative parade honored Allied forces. About 3 600 troops including American British and Canadian contingents marched with Prime Minister Maurice Couve de Murville and General Omar Bradley present. French troops cadets and paratroops joined as the town remembered its siege and the D Day landings.
